HOT YOGA MAMA

I met with a pattern maker yesterday to draw up patterns and determine my size runs for my yoga clothing line Hot Yoga Mama Wear.

I decided Hot Yoga Mama Wear would be one of the labels under my main label Yogini Joy - which is also my business name.

Now it’s time to search for fabric that would best wear in hot, humid environments like Bikram classes. So far I have seen plenty of lycra, but I want a better performance wear out of my clothing. So Iam going to do my homework on that, and get some samples made up. Once it looks perfect, it will be time to make some samples.

I am very excited.

My plan is to first sell my clothing in yoga studios (Bikram ones) first. Then if the response is good, to offer at other yoga studios and clothing stores that offer yoga clothing. I will also have an online store. If business goes well, I plan to expand by making yoga mat bags, and accessory bags.

Trying to do all this and manage my 4 kids, my day job and teaching on the side is pretty tricky but one of these days, I hope to only do what I truly love!
